Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ceramonies websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of devices used to access the Service.
3. The Service and Medical Disclaimer
Ceramonies is an educational, organizational, and tracking tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Routine suggestions, forecasts, generated content, and scheduling intervals are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing medications or treatment, and seek prompt medical care for severe or concerning symptoms. Do not use the Service for emergencies.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of information and content you submit to the Service, including journal entries and photos. You grant Ceramonies a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content and that doing so does not violate law or another person's rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation or security, access another person's account or data, upload malicious code, scrape or reverse engineer the Service except where law permits, use the Service to violate law or others' rights, or attempt to bypass access or usage limits.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing intervals, trial terms, and renewal details are shown before purchase. Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled through the same platform used to purchase them. Stripe processes web payments; RevenueCat, Apple, and Google help manage mobile purchases. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or the applicable platform's rules. You remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation.
7. Ceramonies Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content provided by Ceramonies, is owned by Ceramonies or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may rely on or link to third-party services. Their products and practices are governed by their own terms and policies. Ceramonies is not responsible for third-party services that it does not control.
9. Service Changes and Termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through the available account deletion feature. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Ceramonies disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee any skincare outcome or that suggestions will be suitable for you. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of these terms may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ceramonies and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service or these Terms. Ceramonies' total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid Ceramonies for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service or applicable laws change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
13. General Terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Ceramonies regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Applicable law governs these Terms and any rights that cannot be limited by contract remain unaffected.
